Singh is from a prestigious family in India and runs a carton company in Pune, Maharashtra. They offer different sizes of cartons to pack auto parts. Due to the varying sizes of auto parts, the quantities are often too small to be produced using traditional die-cutting box machines. In addition, the delivery time is too tight. Sometimes the order is just placed today, and the carton will not be released until the next day.
This is a big headache for Singh because he takes large orders from these car factories, and the small orders must be completed, otherwise, the large orders will be lost. He has lost a lot of customers due to late delivery, so he wanted to find a carton molding machine that can quickly make small batches of cartons.
At the 2019 Shanghai International Corrugated Packaging Exhibition, Singer saw our carton box maker BM2508-Plus. We show him how to make cardboard boxes and replacement orders. The quality of the carton is the same as that of the traditional die-cutting box machine. However, our machines can replace orders within a minute.
All of these functions worked as he expected, and later, Singh used all the boxes in our machine library. Especially the lattice box of 0933, which was the most troublesome for him before, it was difficult to make such a cardboard box for them.
Our engineers demonstrated live how to make a grid box with our machine. We can produce about 8 boxes within 1 minute and change an order within 1 minute. Based on this efficiency, Singer roughly calculates that he can fulfill 5 to 10 times more small-batch orders per day than before. This can be of great benefit to him and help them receive many new customer orders.
After confirming that our BM2508-Plus carton maker can solve all his problems, Singh communicated with our sales and technicians in detail about delivery, packaging, power supply, gas supply, etc., all in accordance with Indian standards, and communicated with us to Agree to order one.
10 days after returning to India, Singh signed a formal contract with us and asked us for equipment. Two months later, the equipment Singh ordered was shipped to India.
After-sales service in India
Under normal circumstances, our agents will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, training, and other after-sales work of the machine. If we don’t have an agent in this country, we will send our factory engineer to complete the after-sales work.
All after-sales services are free, including labor, installation, and training. All you need to do is provide our engineers with airfare and room and board. Currently, we have no agent in India, so we send engineers to serve our clients.
Indian customers have prepared power, gas, cranes, etc. in advance. The floor was flat, our installation went smoothly, and we ended up using the morning hours to complete the installation.
After installation, the next job is training. The client arranged for two young people to operate this carton paper machine. They only have a junior high school education but can speak a little English, so the client arranged for them to learn the equipment.
Although the two operators had some difficulties with language and communication, they mastered the operation of the equipment within 2 days.
After a week, all the training was done and both the staff and the manager were very satisfied with the equipment.
Sometimes, they have some special needs. For example, they use hollow plastic sheets to make boxes, which also work well.
