The customer in Sydney, Australia was our first corrugator customer in the southern hemisphere. Before working with us, they had a good relationship with one of our partners in Suzhou. After our partner in Suzhou introduced the BM2508 corrugated box machine to them, they immediately booked a ticket to our factory to confirm the equipment.
After their quality engineer inspected our equipment and had no doubts about the quality, this client called us as soon as they got back to Sydney and prepaid. After New Year’s Day 2018, we arranged to ship to our Sydney customer, and the corrugated box machine arrived at the customer’s factory in March.
BM2508 corrugated box machine is the first generation product of our company. It adopts belt suction and does not need hand hole punching. Its function is close to our company’s existing low profile machine BM2508-plus.
Customers use our machines to make some scattered orders. They are a very large multinational company with a lot of business. They often receive orders in very small quantities that are not suitable for conventional slotting machines. More and more small orders are giving them a headache.
At first, they wanted to do it with a traditional slotting machine, but their workers didn’t like to operate the kind of equipment that requires a certain technical content, low production efficiency, and high labor intensity, so they finally chose our equipment.
Our BM2508 corrugated box machine only needs to input the required size on the touch screen, and then it can automatically adjust to complete the production, which can really meet their requirements.
They also have some e-commerce packaging operations and we outfit them with size and code scanning equipment. Putting the item on the measuring station and the scanner can take measurements and transfer them directly to the touch screen.
In the beginning, the customer was not satisfied with the trimming function of our equipment. After we upgraded the system, the slitting knife was added to the power, and the trimming function of the equipment met the customer’s standard very well.
